Vijay’s final film, Jana Nayagan, continues to face release hurdles. Many had expected the big-budget project to arrive without further issues after the makers withdrew their case, but the situation remains unresolved.
According to the latest update from US distribution company York Cinemas, the film will not release before April 30, 2026. The company said: “Please note that the movie Jana Nayagan will not be releasing before April 30th. If you have any pending tickets and your refund has not yet been processed, kindly contact our theatres to have it arranged at the earliest.”
The statement further added, “All our loyal membership holders will receive priority booking access once the new release date is confirmed. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support.”
The update has disappointed Vijay fans, who now feel they won’t be able to watch the film anytime soon. They are awaiting an official clarification from the makers.
The film is directed by H Vinoth and stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead. It is produced by KVN Productions, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Stay tuned for more updates.
