Vikram, who was last seen in Mr. KK, is quite excited about his upcoming action drama, which is being directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu. The film has KGF star Srinidhi Shetty in a lead role, whereas former Indian cricketer, Irffan Pathan will be seen as the villain in this story.
The latest news is that the film has been titled as Cobra, and director Ajay revealed that there is a connection between Vikram’s character and Cobra in the film. Since the film is also being planned for release in Telugu and Hindi, the makers were keen to zero in on an universal title. The motion poster and the first look were also unveiled recently.
Nearly 50 per cent of the film has been shot and the team will soon fly to Russia and Europe for an extensive shoot. AR Rahman has scored the music and the film is likely to hit the screens in summer 2020.
