Before the release of Virupaksha, hero Sai Dharam Tej was going through a tough time personally and professionally. He survived a fatal bike accident and had a string of commercial failures. But Virupaksha has turned out to be a super hit and Sai Tej is finally back and how!
In the first week of its release, Virupaksha collected a solid share of Rs 25.07 crore in the Andhra, Nizam and Ceded regions. The film had a very good outing at the box offices across the twin Telugu states on Thursday and pocketed Rs 1.49 crore share. Also starring Samyuktha Menon, the Karthik Varma Dandu directorial also grossed over $1 million in North America.
