Vishwak Sen’s last film, Laila, failed to impress audiences and was brutally trolled online. However, the actor assured his fans that his upcoming films would be promising. He will next be seen in the comedy entertainer Funky, directed by Anudeep KV of Jathi Ratnalu fame.
The teaser carried Anudeep KV’s trademark humor and increased the hype around the film. Earlier, the makers had revealed that Funky would hit the big screens on April 3, 2026. However, the release has now been preponed, and the film will now grace cinemas on February 13, 2026. A new poster announcing the revised date has been unveiled, and it looks interesting.
Funky will clash with Nikhil’s PAN-India film Swayambhu at the box office. Kayadu Lohar plays the female lead. Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya are producing the film under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas, while Bheems Ceciroleo is the music composer.
