Megastar Chiranjeevi’s mass Sankranthi entertainer, Waltair Veerayya, has taken the Uttarandhra box office by storm on the Kanuma festive day. The film collected a solid Rs 1.60 crore share in Uttarandhra on Monday, taking its 4-day total in the region to Rs 7.10 crore.
In the twin Telugu states, on its day 4, Waltair Veerayya surpassed all the trade expectations and collected a whopping share of Rs 11.43 crore. The film’s 4-day total AP and Telangana distributor share amounts to Rs 59 crore from a total gross of Rs 96 crore. If the film manages to keep the momentum alive in the coming days, it will surely reach its overall break even mark of Rs 89 crore before this weekend.
