For the last few years, star heroine Samantha has been acting in the Telugu remakes of a few acclaimed films that were made in other languages. U-Turn, Oh Baby and the recent Jaanu were some of the remakes that featured Samantha in the lead.
Now, if the late is buzz is anything to go by, Samantha is said to be the front runner to grab the leading lady’s role in the Telugu remake of the acclaimed Kannada romantic drama, Dia. However, this is merely a speculation and we will have to wait for a few more days to get some clarity regarding the star cast of this much talked about remake.
Dia is a Kannada film which has been gaining prominence upon its release on Amazon Prime this lockdown. Several Tollywood filmmakers are in race to grab the film’s Telugu remake rights.
