Ninnu Talachi is a romantic entertainer which has made its way to the screens this Friday as there are no big releases. Let’s see how the film is.
Story :
Abhiram(Vamsi) is a careless youth who falls in love with Ankita(Stephie Patel). He tries hard to woo her but after a point comes to know that Anikta is in love with someone else. What will Abhiram do now? How will he change Ankita’s mind and win his love is the whole story of the film.
Plus Points :
Some romantic scenes between the lead pair have been showcased well by the director Anil. Hero Vamsi makes a decent debut and has done well in his role. He showcased good emotions and danced well in the film. The chemistry between the lead pair is good.
Heroine Stephie Patel was just about okay in her role and needs to go a long way with her acting capabilities. The actor who did the role of the hero’s friend was quite impressive and evoked decent laughs throughout the film. Rest of the cast was also okay.
Minus Points :
The narration goes for a toss after the first few minutes in the film. The makers have induced too many comedy scenes which do not work at all in the film. The first half is filled with unwanted scenes and forced emotions which take down the film. There is no proper flow in the proceedings.
The logic goes for a toss as there are many scenes which do not have any purpose. The conflict point in the film is weak as the love story is not novel and does not give any freshness to the scenes. The film is filled with cinematic scenes which keep distracting the audience time and again.
Technical Aspects :
The camerawork was decent as the film was shown in a rich light in both the halves. Music by Mahavira was decent enough but his BGM was top notch. Editing is decent and so was the production design. Production values of the film are top-notch. Coming to the director Anil Totha, he has done a below-par ob with the film. He got carried away with way too many commercial aspects and did not elevate the content well. making things tedious.
Verdict :
On the whole, Ninnu Talachi is a boring love story which has a very disappointing premise and narration. Except for some strict few love scenes, this film gets tedious after a point and bores the audience completely. Ignore it this weekend and look for something else.
