Along with multiple low-budget films that hit the screens today, a film called Nuvve Na Pranam has also come out. Let’s see how it is.

Story :

Sanjeev Kumar(Kiran Raj) is an IPS officer that falls in love with Kiran(Priya Hegde). At first, Kiran does not fall for Sanjeev but she gives in finally and even ties the knot with him. Due to a tragic turnaround of events, the couple separates. What was the reason for their separation and how will they get back, is the rest of the story?

Plus Points:

The lead pair Kiran Raj and Priya Hegde dominate the show. The individual point of view of the lead pair and how they are showcased is the best part. Priya Hegde is the star of the film. Be it her glamor or performance, Priya Hegde is quite good in the film. Especially, she was amazing in the emotional scenes.

The romantic scenes in the film are good. The challenges that the lead pair face in their life is shown in a decent manner. Kiran Raj was also neat in his role. His realistic performance in a few scenes was quite good. The rest of the cast was also decent.

Minus Points :

The director did not elevate the conflict point much even though he had good scope in it. He concentrated more on the suspense factor and diluted the film’s plot in many areas. There are a number of scenes in key areas which look forced.

The weak villain of the film is yet another disadvantage. His track is not elevated well thereby making the hero’s role look silly in many areas. There are so many unnecessary scenes that divert the main plot and make the film boring. Though there was a scope for strong emotions, the narration was not that great.

Technical Aspects :

The music of the film is decent, especially one emotional song has been composed quite well. The editing is decent and the production values were also okay. Coming to the director Srikrishna, has done a dull job with the film. He did not make use of the conflict point properly and made this film dull.

Verdict :

On the whole, Nuvve Na Pranam is a film that lacks basic conflict. The lead pair do a great job but the narration is dull and does not create an intense factor for the audience to embrace the emotions making it a disappointing watch this weekend.
