Young hero Akkineni Akhil’s forthcoming romantic entertainer, Hello, is scheduled for a December 22nd release. On this occasion, we caught up with the film’s producer Nagarjuna for a detailed interview. Here is the transcript.
Q) What kind of feedback are you receiving for the teaser and trailer?
A) The teaser, trailer and even the one-minute wedding promo song are getting a tremendous response on social media platforms. Especially, the trailer has already clocked 8 million views. We are very happy with the response.
Q) How did this film materialize?
A) Around eight months ago, Vikram had narrated this storyline. Soon after listening to it, I got excited and asked him to come up with a bounded script. We went to shoot with a perfect planning and completed the movie on time.
Q) Are you happy with the film’s output?
A) Yeah. I have already watched the complete film and I’m very much satisfied with the output. I hope the audience will also give us a good verdict.
Q) Tell us about the heroine Kalyani Priyadarshan?
A) Heroine Kalyani is my Nirnayam director Priyadarshan’s daughter. She is a very cute girl. I’m happy that we are launching her into films.
Q) What aspect do you think will be the highlight of the film?
A) The film has many highlights. Especially, the stunts are going to be of Hollywood standard. A few action sequences will remind you of Jackie Chan-like stunts.
Q) Is there any specific reason to finalize the film’s title as Hello?
A) Yeah. The word Hello has a lot to do with our film. We chose it based on the film’s subject.
Q) Lastly, what’s your take on the recently announced Nandi Awards and for not getting enough awards for Manam?
A) Telugu people have loved the film to the core and that itself is a great award for us. I am not disappointed at all.
