Suriya’s Scene will hit the big screens this Friday. The crime comedy is directed by Aavesham fame Jithu Madhavan, with Naslen playing the antagonist. Bookings haven’t commenced for the film yet in Tamil Nadu, and there is a strong reason behind the delay.

The makers are confident that the Vijay government will issue a new GO allowing 6 AM shows in the state, which is why they have kept bookings on hold. However, Suriya fans are worried that the delay in the commencement of ticket sales might hurt the film’s opening day prospects.

At the moment, there is no clarity on when the GO will be issued. Can Scene still deliver solid opening day numbers despite the hiccups in advance bookings? Let’s wait and see.
