Hero Sundeep Kishan’s landmark 25th film, A1 Express, released yesterday and received a decent response from audiences. Starring Lavanya Tripathi as the female lead, the film is a hockey-based sports drama and is an official remake of the Tamil hit, Natpe Thunai.

According to the latest update, A1 Express collected a decent worldwide share of Rs 1.50 crore on its opening day. This is the highest ever opening day collection in Sundeep’s career. Given the positive buzz surrounding the film, the film is expected to perform well over the weekend.

Debutant Dennis Jeevan Kanukolanu has directed A1 Express, while Sundeep Kishan, TG Vishwa Prasad, Abhishek Agarwal and Daya Pannen bankrolled it together.

After a gap of 3 years, TV star Sagar RK Naidu of the superhit serials Mogalirekulu and Chakravakam fame has played a lead role in the just released rom-com, Shaadi Mubarak. Sagar played the role of an NRI from Australia who lands in Hyderabad to attend three Pellichoopulu in a single day.

Sagar’s charming looks and impressive performance in this breezy romantic entertainer have been getting a good response from critics and audiences alike. Especially, his comic timing in the fun confrontation scenes with the film’s leading lady Drishya Raghunath is being appreciated by everyone.

Looks wise, even though Sagar maintains a chiseled body, he suppressed his macho avatar that best suits action films and instead, he stuck to his character and donned a classy and cool look, topped with a stylish hairdo. It will be interesting to see what kind of roles Sagar is going to portray in his next outing.

The latest gossip going around is that none other than Naveen Polishetty has been roped in to romance Anushka in this film which is a cute and fun drama.

Anushka’s close-knit banner, UV Creations will bankroll this film. If this news turns out to be real, it will be a big leap for Naveen who is slowly making his way up the ladder.
