It is a known fact that Puri Jagan has provided the story, screenplay, and dialogues for his son Akash Puri’s next outing Romantic which is being helmed by his protégé Anil Paduri.

The worldwide theatrical release date of ‘Romantic’ is now locked for June 18th. After delivering a blockbuster with ‘iSmart Shankar’, Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur are producing ‘Romantic’ under Puri Jagannadh Touring Talkies and Puri Connects banners.

Starring Ramya Krishna in an important role, Romantic is touted to be an intense romantic entertainer. Sunil Kashyap scores music for the film, while Naresh handles the cinematography.

National Award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh will next be seen in a titular role in acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor’s female-centric film, Good luck Sakhi. Talented hero Aadi Pinisetty will be seen as the male lead and Jagapathi Babu plays a crucial role in the movie.

Now, Good Luck Sakhi’s makers have just announced that the film will be hitting screens on June 3rd. In an appreciable move, the makers have changed their previous decision to release the film directly on Netflix to give it a theatrical release first.

Good Luck Sakhi will be releasing in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. The film has been jointly bankrolled by Sudheer Chandra Padiri and Shravya Varma under Worth A Shot Motion Arts banner. Devi Sri Prasad is the film’s music composer.

A couple of nights ago, Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan took to Tumblr and posted a new but concerning blog. “Medical condition..surgery..can’t write,” the Big B’s post read. Needless to say, fans across the world were worried about the veteran stalwart’s health.

But on Sunday, an update regarding Amitabh’s surgery was given by his close friends. Apparently, Amitabh underwent a laser surgery to remove the cataract in his eye. The surgery was nothing complicated and Big B was discharged a few minutes after the surgery. And all the worried fans took a huge sigh of relief.
