In a deeply disturbing news, young producer Sandeep Koritala, who co-produced popular movies such as Nikhil’s Swamy Ra Ra and Veedu Theda and Nara Rohith’s Rowdy Fellow, passed away after suffering a heart attack. Sandeep breathed his last on Sunday morning.

Soon after the news broke out, hero Nara Rohith, Swamy Ra Ra director Sudheer Varma and several Tollywood celebs took to social media and expressed their shock and grief over Sandeep’s demise. The funeral was performed at Sandeep’s hometown Poondla in Bapatla, Guntur district.

Young hero Raj Tarun’s upcoming action thriller, Power Play, is gearing up to hit screens on March 5. The film’s pre-release event was held last night in Hyderabad. Speaking at the event, the film’s director Vijay Kumar Konda hailed Raj Tarun’s performance in the movie.

When me and Raj planned to do this film, both of us sat with story writer Nandyala Ravi and discussed only one aspect first – “why should audiences watch our film?” During the lockdown, audiences were exposed to world cinema, and it will be challenging to impres them now. But we assure that Power Play has turned out quite well,” Vijay said.

Also starring Poorna, Hemal and Prince in lead roles, Power Play has been produced by Mahidhar and Devesh under Vanamalee Creations banner.

In the recent past, the TN government has been helping a few people diagnosed with LSDs, and now, the actor has urged the government to help them with the treatment too. “Early intervention is the key to lead a normal life,” Karthi said.

On the work front, the actor is awaiting the release of Sultan, and he’ll also be seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan.
