Currently, Malayalam stalwart Mohanlal is working on a couple of projects. One among them is a period drama under the direction of senior filmmaker Priyadarshan.
Titled Marakkar – Lion of the Arabian Sea, the film has almost wrapped up its shooting part. Meanwhile, the latest news is that the film will have a worldwide release on May 13, 2021.
Marakkar – Lion of the Arabian Sea also stars Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty and Malayalam actress Manju Varrier in crucial roles.
‘Allari’ had become synonymous with Naresh’s name ever since he made his debut with Ravi Babu’s film of the same name back in 2002. The actor went on to build his image as an entertainer and ‘Allari’ became his identity so much that everyone started calling him Allari Naresh.
However, he went through a rough patch for nearly 8 years, and finally, he broke the jinx with Naandhi. His performance earned him rave reviews and Naandhi went on to become a profitable film. Meanwhile, Natural Star Nani, who finally saw the film, was so impressed with his close friend, Naresh’s performance that he advised him to change his name now.
After watching the film, Nani took to Twitter saying, “It’s time to change your name. Allari is past. This is the beginning for your future.”

It looks like there’s a change of plans for Aadhi Pinisetty and Keerthy Suresh’s upcoming sports drama, Good Luck Sakhi. The film, which was supposed to have a direct digital premiere on Netflix, will first hit theaters now.
Good Luck Sakhi’s theatrical release date will be announced tomorrow (March 1) at 9 AM. Acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor has directed the movie. Keerthi plays a tribal girl who takes up rifle shooting. Jagapathi Babu will also be seen in a crucial role.
Devi Sri Prasad has composed the soundtrack for Good Luck Sakhi. Sudheer Chandra and Shravya Varma have jointly produced the movie under Worth A Shot banner. Dil Raju is presenting the movie.
