Drishyam 2, the sequel to the 2013 acclaimed Malayalam suspense thriller, Drishyam, premiered on Amazon Prime Video on February 19 and received a unanimous positive response from all quarters. The film will soon be remade in Telugu with Venkatesh reprising his role from the 2014 film, Drushyam.

In a latest interview while promoting Drishyam 2, the film’s director Jeethu Joseph revealed that he surely has plans to make yet another sequel in the Drishyam franchise. Jeethu went on to reveal that he has already written the climax for Drishyam 3 and that both Mohanlal and producer Anthony have evinced interest in the third part. Jeethu also revealed that he will take at least 3 years to complete the script, which means that the film could hit theatres only in 2025.

Bollywood star Abhishek Bachchan has had a bumpy ride throughout his two-decades-old career. Despite his decent acting skills and the Bachchan brand, Abhishek couldn’t make it to the top league over the years. It looks like the Bachchan Junior has now decided to slightly change his name for some good luck.

Apparently, Abhishek Bachchan has added an extra A in the middle of his name and shall henceforth be called Abhishek A Bachchan. Celebrity numerologist Sanjay B Jumaani has reportedly suggested Abhishek to undergo a slight name change to change his fortunes. Even the credits for Abhishek’s new film, Dasvi, mention his newly altered name. However, Abhishek has not updated his social media account handles with his new name yet.

Veteran Tollywood writer Vijayendra Prasad is currently penning the script for a high budget pan-India film based on Ramayan. The film is titled Sita – The Incarnation, and just as the title suggests, the film highlights goddess Sita’s life.

Sita will be simultaneously made in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada and it is being directed by Aloukika Desai, who is co-writing the script along with the Baahubali writer. Bollywood production house A Human Being is bankrolling this massive project, which will be filled with world-class visual effects. The star cast is yet to be finalized.
