From the past few days, news has been circulating that Mega Powerstar Ram Charan has high chances to collaborate with star director Shankar for a film. News also came out that Telugu producer Dil Raju will be bankrolling it.

Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that Charan is likely to associate with talented Tamil director Gautham Menon for a stylish thriller. The buzz also has it that Charan will be playing a cop in this Telugu-Tamil bilingual project. If the project gets materialized, noted producer NV Prasad will be bankrolling it.

On the eve of the film’s release, the makers took to social media and posted an emotional note.

Team Uppena has said that it’s been a memorable surf on the tides since they started and that they went with the flow and swam against the odds. They further expressed their happiness on the sky-high anticipation for the movie. Uppena features debutants Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Shetty along with Kollywood star Vijay Sethupathi.
