Megastar Chiranjeevi has signed a handful of exciting projects, much to the joy of his fans. After Acharya, he has Lucifer’s remake, Vedalam remake and a film with Sardaar Gabbar Singh and Venky Mama director Bobby. Chiru recently revealed that leading banner Mythri Movie Makers will be bankrolling the project.

Now, according to the latest buzz in film circles, star heroines Shruti Haasan and Rakul Preet Singh are in the race to grab the female lead’s role opposite the Megastar. Both Shruti and Rakul are already busy with several films down south and in Bollywood. We will have to wait until the makers come up with an official announcement about the film’s leading lady. This as-yet-untitled film will be going on floors in May.

Sreekaram is a film that Sharwa has pinned a lot of hopes on as some of his previous films did not work at the box office. The film is finally done with its shoot and the makers today revealed the teaser.

Touted to be a village drama, Sharwa is seen as a farmer in the film. His voiceover of why a farmer does not make his son enter the farming industry sounds haunting and is said to be the main theme of the film.

The visuals, Sharwa’s earthy avatar, and emotions are quite appealing. Things have been kept appealing but the main conflict point has been kept a secret.

Vakeel Saab is a film that will release soon. The shooting of the film has been wrapped up and the post-production is in full swing as of now and Thaman is working on the BGM as per the latest update.

From the past few days, there is news going around that the album of Vakeel Saab will have a special song which will be the highlight of the film. But Thaman has cleared this news and said that there is no special song in the movie.

He also added that the second song of the film will be out in March. Vakeel Saab is the remake of the Hindi hit film Pink and is directed by Venu Sriram.
