Aditi Rao Hydari has worked with the likes of Mani Ratnam and Sanjay Leela Bhansali over the years, and she has a bunch of critically acclaimed films and performances to her credit. Now, she is back in news again for her terrific performance in Ajeeb Dastaans, a Netflix anthology produced by Dharma Productions.

The actress appeared in a short film titled Geeli Pucchi alongside Konkana Sen Sharma, and it was directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, who had previously directed Masaan. Not only are Aditi and Konkana being hailed for their wonderful performances, but the short film itself has also been receiving rave reviews for its portrayal of LGBTQ relationships, caste discrimination among other themes.

No wonder, Aditi is on cloud nine with the reaction from the audience for her work, and one can only wish that it leads to more interesting roles coming her way in near future. In Telugu, the actress is part of Ajay Bhupathi’s Maha Samudram which also has Sharwanand, Siddharth, and Anu Emmanuel.

Young hero Akhil Akkineni is awaiting the release of Most Eligible Bachelor, which will be hitting screens later this summer. The actor has already joined hands with star director Surender Reddy for a high budget spy thriller, titled Agent. The film will be hitting screens during the Christmas season this year end.

Now, an interesting buzz that’s started doing the rounds in film circles reveals that Akhil will be collaborating with leading film production house Mythri Movie Makers next year. Furthermore, the film will be directed by RX 100 fame Ajay Bhupathi. Apparently, Ajay has already narrated a storyline which impressed Akhil. Stay tuned for further updates on this exciting project.

Nagarjuna, who was last seen as an NIA officer in Wild Dog, has another exciting action film in the pipeline. The actor is collaborating with filmmaker Praveen Sattaru, and he is said to be playing an ex-RAW agent who returns to India after a long time. Kajal Aggarwal is also playing as a RAW agent in this film, which is being shot in Hyderabad, Goa among other places.

In a recent interview, Praveen Sattaru revealed that Nagarjuna is so excited about playing the role that he is going all out to surprise the audiences with his stunt sequences. “There are a lot of action sequences in the film and Nagarjuna garu is taking online classes in Krav Maga, a martial arts form, from a top martial arts expert based in Bangkok, and also receiving training in wielding the Katana, the Samurai sword,” the director said.

Apparently, Nagarjuna will be seen as an ex-RAW agent, who returns from his retirement for the sake of his family whom he hasn’t met in almost 20 years, and Praveen Sattaru states that it will have a strong blend of action, drama, and thrilling moments. Gul Panag is also playing a crucial role in the film, alongside Anikha Surendran. The next schedule of the film is expected to begin soon in Hyderabad.
