Balayya’s eagerly awaited action drama under Boyapati Srinu’s direction, Akhanda, became the talk of the town following the release of the film’s action-packed teaser on Ugadi. This positive buzz has now helped the film seal a crazy deal for its digital rights.

According to the latest reports, Akhanda’s digital streaming rights have been acquired by leading OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar for a cool price. Furthermore, popular Telugu entertainment channel Star Maa is said to have bought the film’s satellite rights for a handsome price.

Pragya Jaiswal and Poorna are the female leads in the movie, while Srikanth is playing the main antagonist. Miriyala Ravinder Reddy is bankrolling this project.

Young actor Syed Sohel is fully utilising the popularity he had amassed during his stint in the hit reality game show, Bigg Boss Telugu 4. Sohel, who has already signed a couple of films as a hero, has just signed his next project and an official announcement has been made this morning on the occasion of Sohel’s birthday.

Sohel’s new film will be bankrolled by noted producer Bekkem Venu Gopal under Lucky Media banner. The film is touted as a unique romantic entertainer and details regarding the film’s director, heroine and other cast and crew members will be out soon. Yesterday, Vakeel Saab’s director Sriram Venu interacted with the media and addressed the criticism of Vakeel Saab’s team being the ‘super spreader’ of COVID-19. “There is no truth to the ongoing rumours that the entire team of Vakeel Saab has tested positive for COVID-19. We all are taking the COVID tests on a daily basis and the results are negative. We also have families and we are taking all the necessary precautions,” Sriram Venu said.
