Around a month ago, there were reports that star director Surender Reddy had finalized a young Mumbai model named Vaidya Sakshi as the leading lady opposite Akhil Akkineni in his next film. Apparently, Surender Reddy came across a few ad films Sakshi had appeared in and also checked out her Instagram pictures, before finally calling her to Hyderabad for an audition.

Surender was impressed with Sakshi’s performance and promptly signed her up for his upcoming action thriller. Even though there has been no official announcement regarding the film’s leading lady, Surender Reddy has made it official in his latest interview with a popular English daily.

The star director seems to be highly impressed with Sakshi. He says that she will bring in a different spark to the character. He describes Sakshi as a ‘natural’ and ‘performer’. This as-yet-untitled film will be going on floors in February. Anil Sunkara and Surender Reddy will be jointly bankrolling the project.

Heroes Sharwanand and Siddharth have joined forces for RX 100 director Ajay Bhupathi’s intense romantic action drama, Maha Samudram. Young beauties Aditi Rao Hydari and Anu Emmanuel are the leading ladies in the movie.

Now, the latest buzz is that Ajay has roped in his RX 100 actress Payal Rajput to sizzle in a special dance number. And Payal is said to have gladly accepted the offer since it came from her debut film’s director. Payal is currently working on a couple of movies in Telugu and Tamil.

Even last year, there were reports that Payal will be appearing in a special number in Kamal Haasan-Shankar’s Indian 2. However, the speculations ended up as mere rumours.

Young Bollywood hero Varun Dhawan will be getting married to his childhood sweetheart Natasha Dalal today (January 24). The wedding will take place at Mansion House, Alibaug, in an intimate ceremony. The bride and the groom’s families have reached the venue already.

Now, according to the latest reports that have been going viral since last night, Varun’s car met with a minor accident in Alibaug. Apparently, Varun was on his way to a bachelor’s party hosted by his friends near the wedding venue. While the nature of the accident has not been revealed, the good news is that no one, including Varun, has suffered injuries.

Varun-Natasha’s wedding will be attended by only their close family members and friends due to the COVID-19. The couple will host a grand reception for the Bollywood folks in Mumbai soon.
