Ravi Teja’s PAN Indian movie, Tiger Nageswara Rao, is up for a grand release on October 20. Vamsee, who directed Dongata and Kittu Unnadu Jagrattha, is the director of this action flick, which is based on a few real-life incidents. Abhishek Agarwal produced the movie under Abhishek Agarwal Arts. Renu Desai played a key role, and she has shared some interesting details in her media interaction today. Here is the transcript.

Could you tell us about your character in the film?

Hemalatha Lavanam Garu has a larger-than-life personality. She brought a lot of reforms in areas like Chambal and Bhundel back in those days by meeting the dacoits there. She fought against the jogini system and untouchability. I am very lucky to play Hemalatha Lavanam in Tiger Nageswara Rao. Director Vamsee will go places after the film’s release. It is my pleasure working with Ravi Teja Garu.

How did you prepare for the role?

I met a few people to learn more about her. I met her niece, Keerthy Garu, in Vijayawada, and she gave me a lot of inputs. It helped me a lot to portray the role. I also worked on my body language for this particular role. I gave my complete effort for Hemalatha Lavanam’s role.

Did the role bring any personal changes in you?

Yes, it brought a lot of changes in me. I feel like I need to do much more than what I am doing currently. Children shouldn’t suffer from hunger, and I am working towards that objective.

How was it working with Ravi Teja Garu?

It was really a wonderful experience working with Ravi Teja Garu. I will talk in detail about him during the film’s pre-release event. I have prepared a speech for the same as well.

Do you wish to see Akira Nandan in films?

Every mother would love to see her son on the big screen. But it is up to Akira Nandan whether he wants to become a hero. He is a very good-looking person and possesses all the desired qualities to become an actor. If at all he decides to act in films, I will announce the news by myself.

How was it working with Abhishek Agarwal Garu?

I was initially a bit nervous as it had been a long time since I faced the camera. Also, I am not the heroine in Tiger Nageswara Rao. But Abhishek Garu treated me very well, and I had no pressure during the entire shoot.
