This week was supposed to be an interesting battle at the box office with films like Hanuman Ansh (Telugu) and 418 The Movie scheduled for release, but unfortunately, they got postponed at the last minute.
This has left audiences with only one choice this weekend: Mandaadi. After a strong first weekend, the movie got a boost from the Ganesh Chaturthi festival on Monday. Mandaadi then maintained good holds on weekdays and is now all set for another healthy weekend at the Telugu box office.
Irumudi would have still remained the top choice had it not arrived on OTT this soon. Hence, Mandaadi has availed itself of the benefit of a lack of prominent releases. Written and directed by Mathimaran Pugazhendhi and produced by RS Infotainment, the movie stars Suhas, Soori, and Mahima Nambiar in the lead roles.
