Vijay Devarakonda’s Dwaraka is gearing up for its release soon. On this occasion, we caught up with the film’s director Srinivas Ravindra. Let’s see what he has to say.
Tell us about Dwaraka?
Dwaraka is the name of an apartment where all the key characters in the film assemble. The entire story is of a man who goes through various phases of his life because of his lover. How he takes different forms to deal with his life is the entire film about.
How did you choose Vijay?
I knew Vijay from a long time and always felt that he had a spark within himself. Post Pelli Choopulu, he has proved himself and will once again be a huge asset to Dwaraka.
About Vijay’s role
Vijay plays a thief in the film and how his life goes through various tragic and funny incidents has been showcased by us. He has done a very good job in his role which has different shades. I hope he will impress everyone with his performance.
What is the whole Krishna get up all about?
That is a suspense and is yet another interesting shade in the film for which you need to watch the movie on the big screen.
Reason for the delay?
We wrapped up the film even before Pelli Choopulu. We waited for Pelli Choopulu first and when we wanted to release it, the demonetization happened and now we are ready for release on 3rd March.
