Popular anchor Suma’s son Roshan Kanakala debuted with the high-voltage romantic drama Bubblegum. The film featured Maanasa Choudhary as the female lead. Ravikanth Perepu, who made films like Kshanam and Krishna and His Leela, directed this youthful entertainer. Roshan and Maanasa received solid applause for their portrayals.
The movie didn’t get a great response in theatres, but audiences are lapping it up in the digital space. According to the latest update, Bubblegum accumulated 100 million streaming minutes on Aha. The movie premiered on the Telugu OTT platform on February 9. For a film featuring a debutant, this viewership is a stupendous achievement.
Harsha Chemudu, Kiran G, Anannyaa Akulaa, Harshvardhan, Anu Hasan, Jairam Eashwar, Bindu Chandramouli, and others essayed vital roles. Maheshwari Movies, in association with People Media Factory, bankrolled this movie. Sricharan Pakala composed the tunes.
