Mega Power Star Ram Charan will be next seen in the PAN-Indian sports action drama Peddi. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under the Vriddhi Cinemas banner, the biggie is getting ready for a grand worldwide release on April 30th. The promotional campaign has already created strong excitement with excellent response to the first shot glimpse, posters, and first two songs.
Among all the promotional assets released so far, the film’s music has clearly stood out as the biggest attraction. The soundtrack has been composed by Oscar-winning musician AR Rahman, and his return to a major Telugu project has itself sparked significant curiosity among audiences.
The makers first released Chikiri Chikiri, a soft and melodious number that immediately struck a chord with listeners. The track quickly gained traction on streaming platforms and social media, turning into a favorite for many music lovers. Soon after, the team dropped the second single Rai Rai Raa Raa, which arrived with a completely contrasting vibe. With its energetic beats and lively rhythm, the song further increased the excitement surrounding the film.
What makes the response even more notable is the scale at which the songs have connected with audiences. Despite offering two entirely different musical moods, both tracks have emerged as chartbusters. Combined, Chikiri Chikiri and Rai Rai Raa Raa have now crossed an impressive 300 million views, highlighting the massive reach of the album even before the film’s theatrical release.
Such a strong reception to the music often gives a film an early momentum, and Peddi is clearly benefiting from that advantage. The popularity of the songs has not only strengthened the film’s buzz but also raised expectations for the remaining tracks and the film as a whole.
