The Hindi film industry is getting ready for a big clash. Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar will lock horns on August 11th with Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan. Both movies can collect huge revenues if the content is good. The teams of both films have started the promotions and they are in full swing.
Akshay Kumar started giving media interviews. A question was put forward to Akshay regarding this clash. He answered it very gently. Akshay said that it is a good weekend with two or more holidays and can accommodate both films. He even mentioned that his film ‘Welcome’ and Aamir’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ did well in the clash earlier.
Bhumi Pednekar is playing the leading lady. Anand L. Rai helmed this family entertainer. On the other hand, the Aamir Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha is an official adaptation of the English classic ‘Forrest Gump’. Kareena Kapoor is playing the female lead in Advaith Chandan’s directorial venture. The success of both these films is now very crucial for Bollywood.
