Ashok Selvan’s new film Pon Ondru Kanden has been in the making for a long time. A few days back, it was announced that the movie would be telecasted directly on television, skipping the theatrical release. The shocking fact is that even the film’s cast and crew were not informed about the same.
Vasanth Ravi, who is involved in this project, expressed his disappointment on Twitter. The actor’s post went viral, drawing reactions from netizens. The latest update is that the movie will have a direct digital release. Pon Ondru Kanden will be available for streaming on 14th April on Jio Cinema.
The same has been listed in Jio Cinema’s catalog section. Jio Studios bankrolled this flick, which has Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female lead. Lady director Priya V. Kamakshi helmed this project, which has the tunes of Yuvan Shankar Raja.
