Young filmmaker, Prasanth Varma’s experimental thriller, Awe, was critically acclaimed by the critics. A few months ago, Prasanth even announced that he will make a sequel to the project.
Meanwhile, this afternoon, Prasanth took to twitter and wrote ” For everyone who’s been asking me about #Awe2…thank you so much for your interest in the project. I have finished writing the script almost a year back and it’s much crazier than #Awe. But, I couldn’t find a producer whose craziness matches that of the scripts. Trust me guys. I really tried. So it happens when it happens”.
This clearly shows that he is desperately looking for a producer to mount his film and as he did not find any, he has let his need out in the open. Let’s hope Prasanth finds a producer to make Awe 2 as soon as possible.
