Major, the biographical film featuring Adivi Sesh, was a solid hit at the box office. The movie, directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka, is based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was martyred in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The film was released in June 2022.
After several months of its release, the film finally locked its world television premiere date. Accordingly, the film will be telecasted on May 14 at 6 PM on Gemini TV. Saiee Manjrekar played the female lead. Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, Revathi, Murali Sharma, and Anish Kuruvilla played crucial roles.
Major is combinedly produced by G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment, Sony Pictures International Productions, and A+S Movies. The movie was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi, and its screenplay was provided by Adivi Sesh himself. Sri Charan Pakala composed the tunes.
