There’s no stopping Stree 2 at the box office. The Shraddha Kapoor-starrer horror comedy is erasing several mighty box office records globally. In its latest record-breaking feat, Stree 2 has surpassed Animal (Rs 503.17 Cr) and Baahubali The Conclusion’s lifetime nett collection in India (Rs 511.08 Cr) and emerged as the fourth highest grossing movie at the Indian box office.
On its fourth Saturday, Stree 2 collected a solid Rs 8.5 crore approximately, taking its cumulative total to Rs 515.05. Stree 2 will comfortably surpass the all-time third and second highest grossing Indian movies, Pathaan (Rs 524.69 Cr) and Gadar 2 (Rs 525.52 Cr), in the coming days. However, whether or not Stree 2 will manage to surpass Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan (Rs 582.54 Cr) in its lifetime remains to be seen.
Stree 2 also features acclaimed Bollywood stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee in lead roles. Directed by Amar Kaushik, the film was produced under the Maddock Films banner. Stay tuned for further updates on this surprise blockbuster.
