Natural Star Nani’s The Paradise collected around Rs. 19 crores gross on day two. Estimates hinted at over Rs. 20 crores, but the actuals came in lower than expected. Telangana held up superbly with Rs. 9 crores gross (Rs. 5 crore share).
AP and overseas markets did witness big drops on the second day. The overseas trend is expected given the way films with negative talk crash instantly, but the performance in AP comes across as disappointing. However, the hold in Nizam ensured the overall drop in numbers isn’t significant. Otherwise, it would have been a total crash.
In Telugu states, the film earned Rs. 14 crores gross on day two, with Nizam share being more than Andhra Pradesh gross. The hope is that the film will witness some growth over the weekend to recover the lost ground in Andhra Pradesh and overseas.
