Speculation surrounding Yash’s biggie, Toxic, continues to intensify as fresh rumours emerge about the film’s repeated postponements.

While the makers had already delayed the project twice for various reasons, the latest buzz in industry circles suggests that the team behind Ramayana may be pressurising the makers of Toxic to push the release to next year.

The reason behind the alleged move is said to be Yash’s association with Ramayana, where he plays the role of Ravana and also serves as a co-producer.

The ambitious mythological epic stars Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi in key roles and is planned as a two-part franchise, with releases scheduled for Diwali 2026 and Diwali 2027.
