Power Peta was announced long ago by director Krishna Chaitanya with Nithiin as the protagonist. However, Nithiin exited the project for unknown reasons, and later Vishwak Sen’s name came into the picture. Following the release of Gangs of Godavari, Krishna Chaitanya announced that Vishwak Sen would headline the film.
However, even Vishwak Sen hasn’t taken up the project, and many assumed it was shelved. According to the latest buzz, Sundeep Kishan has been finalised to play the lead role in this flick. Sometime ago, his name popped up, but now it is said that he has been locked in as the hero.
Ritika Nayak, who recently appeared in the blockbuster fantasy film Mirai, has reportedly been roped in as the leading lady. Initially, Krishna Chaitanya wanted to do this project as a trilogy, but now it appears that the script has been rewritten as a single-part film.
