Kaithi 2 is one of the most anticipated projects from South India. With the first part, Karthi and Lokesh Kanagaraj left a solid impact on the audience, and the LCU took shape only because of Kaithi. However, the sequel has been getting delayed, with Lokesh focusing on other projects.
A few days ago, Dream Warrior Pictures censored a 30-second teaser titled Dilli. According to buzz in Kollywood circles, Kaithi 2 might be titled Dilli, focusing entirely on the iconic character. An official announcement is expected to come out on March 14, coinciding with Lokesh Kanagaraj’s birthday.
However, Lokesh has already committed to Allu Arjun’s film recently. Hence, Kaithi 2 may go on floors only in 2027. It is said that the Kaithi 2 team is planning to make this announcement to put an end to all the rumours and confirm that the project is very much on track.
