Vasantha Kokila, the upcoming multi-lingual film starring Bobby Simha in the lead role, is set to hit the theatres on February 10, 2023. The Tamil version is titled Vasantha Mullai while the Kannada and Telugu versions are titled Vasantha Kokila.
Helmed by debutant Ramana Purushotham and produced by SRT Entertainment and Mudhra’s Film Factory, the film has Kashmira Pardeshi as the female lead. As the release date nears makers unveiled the thrilling trailer of the movie.
Vasantha Kokila’s Telugu trailer was released by Megastar Chiranjeevi, and the Kannada trailer was released by Star Hero Shivraj Kumar. Trailer begins with Bobby Simha working day and night in a software office. His stress, frustration everything bursts out in a fight. Then beautiful moments from his life with his love, played by Kashmira Paradesi, were shown.
Then he goes to the ‘Vasanatha Kokila’ lodge, and the real mystery begins. In that lodge, he encounters numerous horrors. As the trailer progresses, we see a series of clips of an eerie house, the lead pair camping at a hilltop, close-up shots of the lead actors and sequences where they are seen shouting, setting the tone for an intriguing thriller. The series of intriguing visuals plays out to some fast-paced upbeat music that builds the suspense.
The intriguing cuts, rich visuals and eerie bgm raises the tension. Young actor Arya is also playing key role in the film. It appears that it’s going to be another nail biting psychological thriller. Rajesh Murugesan has been roped in to set the background score and soundtrack while Gopi Amarnath will be handling the camera. Vivek Harshan will be taking care of editing.
