Megastar Chiranjeevi’s GodFather is all set to release on October 5th. The makers today announced that the pre-release event will be conducted on the 28th in Ananthapur. An interview featuring Chiranjeevi and anchor Sreemukhi titled In The Clouds was released by the team today.
Chiranjeevi shared many fascinating details about the film in the interview. The actor said that it was Charan who approached Salman Khan to play the supporting role of Chiranjeevi in the film and the Bollywood star actor immediately accepted to do it. Chiranjeevi mentioned that they needed someone who has that star power to do the role and due to the camaraderie between the Chiru family and Salman, he immediately said yes to it.
Also, Chiru revealed that it was his choice to rope Satyadev to play the antagonist role in the film. Chiranjeevi said that he was amazed after watching the young actor’s mature performances and decided to have him in the film. Megastar also disclosed that the ace director Puri Jagannadh will play a YouTuber role in the film. Puri initially was hesitant to act in front of the camera.
Also, chiru mentioned that Puri nailed the character. Murali Mohan and Big Boss fame Divi will also be featured in this political action drama. GodFather releases on October 5th. Konidela Productions in association with Super Good Films bankrolled the biggie. Mohan Raja is the director.
