Malayalam movies are known for their content. The recent crime drama Iratta starring Joju George in the lead role, was successful in attracting the OTT audience. Though the film didn’t have a great run in theatres, it found its share of the audience after its release on Netflix.
The movie continues to soar on the digital platform and is trending all over the world now. The film earned a spot in the top 10 non-English films at the global level for the last week, i.e., from March 6 to March 12. This is a sensational achievement by Iratta. which deals with an important social issue.
Starring Anjali, Srinda, Arya Salim, Srikanth Murali, Sabumon, and Abhiram in crucial roles, the movie is bankrolled by Appu Pathu Pappu Productions, Martin Prakat Films and Sijo Vadakan. SJakes Bijo composed the tunes. The movie is also available for streaming in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada languages on Netflix.
