Tainted Sandalwood star Darshan is currently languishing in jail following the sensational case of the brutal assault and murder of his fan, Renuka Swamy. Darshan is accused number 2 in the case, in which his co-star and close friend Pavitra Gowda also faces charges.
For the first time, Darshan’s wife, Vijayalakshmi, responded to the allegations of murder against Darshan. She took to Instagram and shared the injunction issued by a sessions court against media houses from publishing unauthenticated information on the murder case. Vijayalakshmi went on to express heartfelt condolences to Renuka Swamy’s family. “The last few days have been full of anguish for Darshan, myself, my teenage son, and all of Darshan’s friends, family, and fans,” Vijayalakshmi wrote in her Insta post.
She also hoped that the media and netizens would stop publishing falsified information and untruths that were being spread across various media and social media platforms. Vijayalakshmi’s Insta post comes a week after her son Vinish’s Instagram post, in which he “thanked” trolls for not considering he is just 15 years old.
