After a solid opening day and a decent 3-day first weekend where it collected nearly Rs 19 crore share worldwide, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna’s Dear Comrade has witnessed a considerable drop on its first Monday. The film could only collect around Rs 95 lakhs on Monday and this is worrying the trade circles.
Dear Comrade could not even utilize the Bonalu holiday in Telangana. The situation is more or less the same in the US. Until 10 PM EST, Dear Comrade collected a gross of $9,223 on Monday, taking its total gross to $695,666. The film will breach the $700K mark by Monday night.
We will have to wait and see if Dear Comrade can manage to gain steam and head towards the break even status. This Bharat Kamma directorial has been produced by Yash Rangineni and Mythri Movie Makers banner.
