He acknowledged the feedback and said he would take the shortcomings seriously and work on correcting them in his next project.
Despite the negative reviews, the director expressed gratitude to audiences for turning up in large numbers, largely due to the unmatched stardom of Rajinikanth.
He revealed that the producer informed him the film went on to collect around ₹500 crore at the global box office, calling it a massive achievement.
