Earlier this year, Supreme hero Sai Dharam Tej took a lot of people by surprise when he signed a film with Deva Katta. The latter is popular for his films like Vennela and Prasthanam; however, there was a long lull in his career post films like Autonagar Surya and Dynamite. The duo is teaming up for the first time and the film is expected to be a gritty action drama.

Incidentally, Deva Katta revealed that the theme of the film is based on a powerful line – “Those who pave the way first will bleed first.” Now, it remains to be seen what backdrop Deva Katta chooses to narrate the story. More details about the film and the cast will be announced soon.

During a recent interaction with fans on Twitter, Deva Katta confessed that he went wrong with Autonagar Surya at the execution level. “I haven’t had a break from work for the past two and a half years. It is just that none of that had to do with a Telugu film,” the director said, while adding that as one of the directors of the Netflix series, The Rise Of Sivagami, he has spent quite a lot of time on the series.
