Dhanush is gearing up for the release of his next big venture, Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula. Touted as a pan-Indian film, it features Rashmika Mandanna and Akkineni Nagarjuna in prominent roles. The makers have officially announced its release date as June 20, 2025.
Meanwhile, Dhanush is also busy with Idly Kadai, a project he is both directing and starring in. The film has been making headlines again following a brief postponement. The team has now flown to Bangkok for the final leg of shooting, after which promotional activities will commence.
Idly Kadai stars Nithya Menen as the female lead and boasts a strong supporting cast including Arun Vijay, Parthiban, and Satyaraj. The film is being jointly produced by Wunderbar Films and Dawn Pictures, with music composed by GV Prakash Kumar. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 1, 2025, in both Tamil and Telugu.
