Since this morning, rumors have been circulating on social media that Rajinikanth’s Dharman, produced by Kamal Haasan, is based on the English series The Good Doctor. The speculation left fans worried, but the team has now clarified that the rumors are false.
Director Aswath Marimuthu took to his X account and quoted the handle that spread the fake news about his film. Rajinikanth’s film is neither inspired by nor based on any series and is an entirely original subject.
Since Rajinikanth also plays a doctor in Dharman, baseless rumors surfaced online, seemingly to damage the film. Simran and Raashii Khanna have been roped in for pivotal roles, while Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. The shoot began yesterday, and the movie will grace cinemas in 2027.
