The Bollywood sensation Dhurandhar: The Revenge (Dhurandhar 2), which is still performing decently at the box office, is finally making its way to OTT platforms. This spy action thriller starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar has already grossed nearly Rs. 1800 crore globally.
It is well known that the digital rights for the sequel moved to Jio Studios, but a new development has added a twist. While a digital entry on Netflix is now confirmed, the release will be limited strictly to overseas markets. In India, Jio Hotstar still retains the sole rights to stream the film.
Netflix is scheduled to begin streaming the movie starting May 14, 2026, though there is still no official word regarding the specific Indian streaming date. Fans are currently speculating that Jio Hotstar will release the film on the same day to prevent losing viewership to international platforms.
This blockbuster, which caused mayhem at the box office, is expected to explode on OTT and set several new records. In the meantime, the original Dhurandhar (Part 1) continues to maintain its position on the Netflix Top 10 charts in India.
