Since this morning, there has been news that Tollywood star actor Jr. NTR has sought assistance from the Telangana High Court in a dispute over a property in Jubilee Hills. According to a few reports, NTR purchased a 681-square-yard plot in Jubilee Hills back in 2003 from Sunku Geetha Lakshmi. The lady is said to have created fake documents and mortgaged the plot to obtain loans from various banks.

The reports further stated, “As the banks received an order in their favor from the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), they tried to take possession of the property, due to which the star actor approached the High Court of Telangana.” While fans started discussing this on social media, the team issued a press statement clearing the air.

The press statement read: “In response to the news which is published today with respect to Mr. NTR, we would like to clarify that the said property has been sold by Mr. NTR in the year 2013. We request you to avoid using Mr. NTR’s name in any reporting with respect to the said property.” On the professional front, NTR will be next seen in Devara, which is being directed by Koratala Siva.
