Noted playback singer, dubbing artist and activist Chinmayi Sripada has received a major shock from the Tamil Nadu Film and TV Dubbing Union. Chennai took to Twitter and revealed that she has been terminated from the union, which means that she will not be allowed to dub for any Tamil film in future.

Chinmay also revealed that her membership has been cancelled since she has not paid the annual membership fees for the last 2 years. She has also pointed out that the dubbing union has been taking 10% of her remuneration for all the dubbing work despite her not being part of the union.

Chinmay concluded saying that the Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha-starrer 96 may well be her last film as a dubbing artist, in case her membership is not revived by the union.
