Dulquer Salmaan’s romantic period drama Sita Ramam is confirmed to hit screens on August 5, 2022. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, the film marks the Tollywood debut of Mrunal Thakur. The trailer of the film has been released at a special event in Hyderabad.

DQ addressed the audiences at the trailer launch event and said that he actually wanted to do romantic movies anymore but okayed Sita Ramam after listening to Hanu Raghavapudi’s narration. The Mahanati actor expressed that Sita Ramam is a beautiful, amazing and epic love story.

“I got a great opportunity to work with the wonderful cast and crew, who put in their sweat and blood for the movie. I have been to Smriti valley, Kashmir for the first time and to many more amazing places because of this movie,” said the actor. He thanked the director, the remaining team and requested audiences to watch the film on big screens only.

Sumanth, Rashmika Mandanna, Tharun Bhascker, Vennela Kishore, Prakash Raj and others played crucial roles in this epic love tale, produced by Swapna Cinema and presented by Vyjayanthi Movies. Sita Ramam has the soundtracks rendered by Vishal Chandrshekar.
