Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor, Sandalwood star Yash, and star heroine Sai Pallavi’s Ramayana is one of the most eagerly awaited biggies in India. The Nitesh Tiwari directorial is being made as a two-part franchise. The film’s first look was supposed to be unveiled on the occasion of the Sri Ram Navami festival. However, the plan was deferred due to reasons unknown.
As per the latest updates, Ramayana’s first look will be unveiled during the soon-to-commence World Audio Visual & Entertainment (WAVES) Summit in Mumbai. The event will be held from May 1 to 4, 2025. The buzz is that either a poster or a video will be released at a star-studded event at the WAVES Summit.
Ramayana is being made on a massive scale by Namit Malhotra’s DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations banners. Legendary Oscar-winning composers AR Rahman and Hans Zimmer are working on the film’s soundtrack. Ranbir will be seen as Lord Rama, while Yash and Sai Pallavi play Ravan and Goddess Sita, respectively. The first part of Ramayana will be released on Diwali 2026.
