Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh has hit the big screens worldwide today on the occasion of Ugadi. The film marks the coming together of Harish Shankar and Pawan Kalyan after the blockbuster Gabbar Singh. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the movie features Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna as the female leads. The team conducted a success meet this afternoon in Hyderabad.
At the event, Harish Shankar said, “I expected that it would take some time to get positive talk since it is a mass entertainer. But the film received encouraging reports right from the early shows. Audiences are getting surprised by Ustaad Bhagat Singh’s content. From the beginning, I have been very clear. I said I am making a commercial entertainer and that I will present vintage Pawan Kalyan.”
He added, “However, we have still included some good elements. We have touched upon illegal immigrants, a topic that hasn’t been attempted in Telugu cinema before. Every character has prominence, and audiences are loving every bit of the film. Especially, the remix of the Tholiprema song is the biggest attraction. Thaman provided the background score in a very short time.”
