Interview Taapsee- I am in no mood to marry

Taapsee is in top form as she is doing films pan-India. Her new film ‘Game Over’ is set for a release soon and on this occasion, we met Taapsee for an interview. Here is the transcript.

How excited are you about the film Game Over?

I am very excited as the film has turned out supremely well. All those who have seen the film only have good things to say about it. We have made an honest and different film which I feel will surely impress the audience. I am eager to find out the reaction of the audience after watching the film.

About your role?

I play a modern girl who goes through a lot of trauma because of an incident. I play a wheelchair bound character for most of the time and this makes the proceedings even more interesting for the audience. This role has taken a lot from me as an actress and this is one of my best performance to date.

What are your expectations on this project?

Aswin, the director narrated the film to me long back. The moment I heard the story, I saw the spark and felt that this is no ordinary film as it has some edgy thrills which have been superbly narrated by the director. Today’s technology of sound design has enhanced the proceedings even better.

You are on top of your game. How do you feel?

I am very happy with the work I am getting. The industry has started taking me seriously now and I am getting some good work. Offers are coming in from all parts of the country and I am very happy that I am in a space to choose the best work.

About your marriage plans?

I am very busy with my work as of now. Things have just got exciting in my life and I feel that when the time is right, I will surely tie the knot. For now, my focus is completely on my career which is flourishing.

Upcoming projects?

I just signed a Telugu project recently. I have one Tamil film ready and have also given green signal to three films in Bollywood. Touchwood, I am busy and want this phase to continue forever.
